Who we are

We’re an underage and senior hurling and camogie club based in Glasgow - we have been running since 2019 .  We offer the opportunity for children of all ages up to  adults to actively get involved in hurling and be a part of a friendly club.  Our mens team compete in the Lancashire league and championship and our ladies' camogie team compete in the Britain Intermediate League and Championship. We are an integral part of the local community and help children make friends, keep active and develop team working skills.

Why sponsor us

We are looking to form a partnership so all our sponsors will get promoted on our social media channels including facebook, twitter, instagram and linked in. Not only will the sponsor be helping our club which operates in a very deprived area of Glasgow so limited resources but will be promoted through our social media channels and to all our members and partners. Our teams travel to both England Ireland for matches/tournamanets so businesses will be promoted not only in the local area.

Where we are 

We have both an adult camogie (females) and hurling team (males) and a youth section from age 3 upwards. We have links with about 12 local primary schools and this is continuing to grow. 

Aspirations for the future

We are  review and update our 3 year development plan next year. This will include increase the number of teams we have and coaches/volunteers. We will increase our link with local schools and develop more partnerships in the local area.

History

Our club was only started in 2019 so have made lots of progress since inception but have ambitious plans for the future. Our intention is to have teams at all ages competing regularly. 

If you would like to join Ceann Creige, or have a child who’d like to join, please contact us. Youth training is on every Thursday at 5.30pm – 6.30pm at Barrachnie park -training will move venue shortly due to needing floodlights. Beginners welcome - equipment provided.
